Research notes, correspondence, drafts and other papers relating to the writing of the two volumes of The Buildings of England: West Kent and the Weald and North East and East Kent. First and second editions. The volumes were first published in 1969 and the second editions in 1976. The records are dated from the period 1967 to 1976.
The series was acquired by the NMR in 2006.
