Since the completion of the RCHME/EH survey project of the Exmoor National Park in 2001, several new prehistoric sites have been discovered. The prehistoric ritual and ceremonial archaeology preserved within the Exmoor National Park forms a nationally important resource, and these newly discovered sites provide a significant addition to it; the potential new settlement site is one of only a handful found on Exmoor. The project has located the sites to the OS National Grid and has provided metrically accurate plans of the sites at an appropriate scale, thus putting these newly discovered sites into their historic environment contexts. Fieldwork was undertaken in May 2007.
Material received from EH survey staff.
