Description
A thematic survey of purpose-built schools of the period 1962-1984 being taken forward by the cross-departmental Schools Working Group (from 2008). This is a largely desk-based survey, undertaken by Elain Harwood and Geraint Franklin, with a proposed publication date of 2010. The EH 'Informed Conservation' publication 'England's Schools: History, architecture and adaptation' which was published in 2010 includes schools from the period 1945-1985. See BF112302.
