Description
The series contains 2196 black and white photographs of towns and villages in England and Scotland taken by Andor Gomme between about 1955 and 1965. The photographs are mounted on A3-sized pieces of paper and are often accompanied by ink sketches of town centre maps showing the position where the images were taken from.
A handlist is available. Negatives of many of the images are available in the series GOM01/05 and the handlist indicates the packet number where any negatives would be found.
