This collection consists of forty-seven glass plate negatives, created in 1912, documenting the homes and rendezvous points of some of the alleged conspirators of the 1605 Gunpowder Plot. The Plot was an attempt to blow up the House of Lords during the State Opening of Parliament on 5th November 1605.

The collection includes photographs of Badge Court (formerly Batchcott), home of the daughter of Robert Wintour; Bushwood Hall in Henly-in-Arden, the birthplace of Robert Catesby; Coughton Court, Alcester, where relatives and associates of the conspirators learnt of the plot's failure; the church and village of Dunchurch, including the Red Lion Inn where the conspirators responsible for raising rebellion in the north were to meet; Grafton Manor near Bromsgrove, home of John Talbot whose daughter was married to Robert Wintour and was therefore suspected of involvement in the Plot; Holbeche or Holbeach House near Kingswinford, where several of the key conspirators were captured or killed; Norbook Manor, home of John Grant, one of the plotters; and Purshall Hall in Elmbridge, used by the plotters. There is also a photograph of a painting of Robert Wintour, and a copy of a map showing the homes and meeting places of the conspirators.

No information is known about the provenance of the collection.
