Description
The series contains business and legal records and other documents mostly relating to the photographic firm of Bedford Lemere & Co. The papers date from 1868 to 1986 but the majority of them cover the 1948 to 1965 period.
The papers include accounts, correspondence, letters of condolence on the death of Bedford Lemere in 1911, various printed catalogues (with supplements), price-lists, stationery, minutes and agenda papers, deeds for premises, Memorandum and Articles of Association, records of shareholders, and lists of negatives.

The papers in this series were acquired by the NMR in 2002 and 2009.
