Description

This is the complete surviving photography from Henry Taunt and Company, comprising the glass plate negatives held by the National Monuments Records and original photographic prints held by the Centre for Oxfordshire Studies, material in the custody of the latter identified by HT prefixed reference numbers.

The collection covers a wide range of ecclesiastical and secular buildings in the Thames Valley with strong coverage of the built environment and social life centring on the Thames itself.
