A series of negatives of unknown provenance documenting historic inns in the south of England.
The series is primarily composed of miniature format glass plate negatives, consisting of exterior views of historic inns, public houses and hotels in Worcestershire, Berkshire, Kent, Essex, Surrey, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Shropshire, West Sussex, East Sussex, Somerset and Greater London. The photographs date from between 1921 and 1929, with the majority being taken between 1922 and 1924. In addition to the miniature format glass plate negatives there are also larger glass plates and small format film negatives.
Due to poor condition some negatives were not scanned and therefore do not have a digital extent.
