Description
Series consists of albums showing staff trips to Laing’s works in South Africa, general staff outings and an album belonging to W M Johnson which also includes some photographs relating to Laing contracts including 'Easiform' housing, oblique aerial views of Patons and Baldwins knitting factory in Darlington and images of the BBC's television mast at Holme Moss (circa 1945 - 1959). Also contained within the series are loose mounted prints of staff presentations, portraits and staff dinners, including an unidentified black and white print of a formal Holloway Brothers dinner dating to approximately circa 1900.
