Series: N.K. Harrison Collection Lantern slides, non-medical

Description

The non-medical series depicts leisure (particularly swimming) and holiday activities with a focus on the Clacton-on-Sea and Walton-on-the-Naze area (dating from the mid 1920s), as well as cars and motorcycles, countryside and village views in the south east, foxhunting, war time activities, sports, and local events. There are a small number of colour slides dating from the 1930s mostly showing Guernsey and the Isle of Wight. The oldest slides show 1890s Blackpool, including one of Blackpool Tower under construction.
