Description

This project consisted of existing records on the Avebury World Heritage Site being enhanced and new records created by Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England Inventory staff in response to the proposals to extend the boundary of the World Heritage Site. In addition, the Avebury NMP project was undertaken by RCHME Aerial Survey between October 1997-December 1998 and field surveys were conducted by RCHME Archaeological Survey during the 1990s.
