Description

An excavation archive relating to investigations at Maiden castle Farm by H.C. Bowen and R.A.H. Farrar in the 1970s. Copies of reports covering two earlier pieces of work are included in the archive. These are a report by G.E. Kirk on excavations at Lee Motors, Trinity Street, Dorset (a shorter version appears in PDNHAS 1939) and an unpublished report, written in 1928, by Major Forster on the Roman Aqueduct of Dorchester. The original reports are held by Dorset County Museum.
