Description
This series contains 211 files relating to individual projects undertaken by RMJM between 1959 and 1985. The files were compiled to provide a visual and textual overview of each project and in some cases were produced to provide a back-up copy of photographs in the event of loss of records elsewhere.
The content of the files varies but the most common types are: black and white photographs (there are some colour photographs of later projects); job descriptions (one page textual overviews of each project); job files (files containing variously: plans, specifications, contractual documents, job descriptions etc.); press cuttings; printed items (including complete magazines, brochures or leaflets); drawings (architectural plans); reports and surveys; and calculations.
The photographs mainly show buildings just after completion but there are some views of construction, scale models, and buildings in use.
A handlist is available. The file number from the handlist should be quoted.
