Description

The file contains 2 handwritten lists. One details the distribution to museums of finds recovered from the River Thames over the past 150 years along the reaches from Mortlake to Barn Elms , which are almost entirely in the London and British Museums, and for which there is no specific provenance. The other list details finds from the Thames in Surrey / Middlesex for which a closer siting is possible.

Archival History

The files were received from the library (former number 1.1.78)
