An earthwork survey of Odiham Castle was undertaken between January and March 2004 by Field Investigation staff from English Heritage's Swindon office. The survey was undertaken to provide a plan and analysis of the site and the surrounding area in order to inform future conservation and consolidation work. The survey was carried out as a level 3 survey at a scale of 1:1000; a level 1 survey was undertaken on the deer park.
