Description
Survey by the Archaeological Survey and Investigation Team, conducted from January to May 2005 for the National Trust, of the nationally important Lodge Park due to the fact that the archaelogical features of the parkland had not been mapped in detail before. The remains throughout the park were surveyed at a scale of 1:2500 and a more detailed (1:1000) plan was produced for the most complex area of earthworks. The results will be incorporated into the National Trust's Conservation Plan for the Park, which is to be drawn up in 2006.
