The earthwork remains of a possible gunpowder works were surveyed by David Field, Judie English abd others between 27 March and 4 April 1988. Supplemented by documentary research, their findings were published in 'Surrey Archaeological Collections' vol. 81 (1992).
The file contains a draft of the published article, documentary research notes and drawings, as well as the field drawing and final measured survey.
