Description
A survey of the earthwork remains within the grounds of Highclere castle, carried out by RCHME Salisbury in 1992, following a request by Hampshire County Council and Lord Carnarvon, as part of a management plan relating to the estate. Documentary research for the project was carried out by Southampton University. In 1993, features in the park were surveyed as an extension to the project.
