Description
Barbury Castle was surveyed during July 1998 by the RCHME Swindon Office at the request of Swindon Borough Council. The survey was needed to underpin a management plan of the hillfort and provide interpretative information for the public. The survey also complements a recent English Heritage AML geophysical survey of the site.
