Description
A group of 237 colour slides showing seaside scenes and seaside buildings and structures around England, including some in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Jersey. The photographs taken in seaside towns show piers, shops, kiosks, shelters, amusement arcades, lidos, hotels, holiday apartments, promenades and illuminations. Photographs taken in more remote coastal areas show RNLI lifeboat stations, lookout towers and fishermen's huts.
