Description
A series of 12 colour slides depicting a range of cottages ornee. Built or adapted during the 18th and 19th century as estate cottages and lodges, they represent the Romantic movement affiliation of their creators. A variety of typical decorative elements are present, including thatch, gothick window lights and rose arcades.
