Description

Series of sixty nine slides showing circuses and crescents. Many of the slides show well-known examples of Georgian architecture such as the Royal Crescents of Bath and Brighton, and crescents in Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. Others include the Paragon, Greenwich, and Landsdown Circus, Royal Leamington Spa, and The Crescent, Compton Pauncefoot, Somerset. A modern example of a crescent-shaped road layout in Waterlooville, Portsmouth, is also included.
