Description

A group of 288 colour slides showing flats and maisonettes. Four of the slides show buildings in Scotland; the remaining slides show buildings in England, primarily in London although other English towns and cities are also shown. Buildings include mansion flats, high rise blocks, local authority housing and post-war flats, as well as several conversions and late-20th century developments. Examples of estate flats include Byker in Newcastle-on-Tyne, Park Hill in Sheffield, and the Hartcliffe Estate in Bristol.
