A series of fifty four slides showing manor houses. Counties represented are Dorset, Gloucestershire, Kent, Norfolk, Oxfordshire, Somerset, Sussex, Wiltshire and York. In particular Owlpen Manor, Stroud, Gloucestershire, and Kelmscott Manor and Asthall Manor House, both Oxfordshire, are shown. Many of the buildings date from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. Some are in the care of the National Trust.
