Description

A file containing twelve photographs depicting the F W Woolworth and Co store at 10-13 Market Place, Kingston upon Thames. Known as Woolworths store number 43, this was the forty-third branch of Woolworths to open in the British Isles, on 14th November 1914. The store originally opened at 6 Clarence Street, but it relocated to a larger site on the Market Place in 1931. The store closed in 2008.
