Description

Photographic album labelled 'No. 1', containing 59 black and white prints showing the demolition and construction of the Bank of England by the building firm, Holloway Brothers. The images show the firm's work on Sections 1 and 1A.

Archival History

Laing Construction took over the London firm of Holloways in 1964. It is presumed that the photograph album was acquired at this point.
