Description
An assemblage of loose album pages featuring 5 colour and 853 black and white photographs including 842 contact prints relating to John Laing & Son projects and products and testing. Some images are duplicates of photographs featured in other albums, for example a view showing pile driving also appears in JLP01/01/142. The contents include: Photographs showing employees, equipment and construction projects associated with McKinney Foundations Ltd., part of the Laing group during the 1960s; 238 contact prints labelled "P.E.D" showing research & developement, construction and promotional images; 384 contact prints labelled "Concrete" showing construction, products and testing; 110 contact prints labelled "Constructional Developement" showing construction, products and testing.
