Description

612 sheets of drawings of the Silchester Roman Town site including plans, sections and elevations, maps and topographic surveys, dating from between 1909 and 1995. The majority of sheets represent several rectified photographic surveys of the Roman walls and gates made between 1986 and 1995. There are also plans showing features uncovered by excavations; the guardianship area; the site's water supply and drainage and planting plans for the amphitheatre.
