Haigh Hall, School Lane, Wigan, Haigh - Wigan
House, 1827-40, set within the remains of early C19 gardens and pleasure grounds, now overlaid with late C20 visitor facilities and playgrounds. Planning and Listed Building Consent was granted several years ago to convert the Hall to a hotel. In 2021, the Hall returned into Wigan Council's control. Plans are in development to establish a future use and carry out further repairs to the building. A masterplan for the hall was developed in spring 2022 in consultation with local stakeholders.
