Maiden Street Methodist Church, Maiden Street, Weymouth, Weymouth - Dorset (UA)

Former Methodist church. Fire in January 2002 left the church a gutted, roofless ruin. Subsequent health and safety works completely cleared the interior. Consent was granted in 2007 but not implemented for conversion/ reconstruction to mixed residential and commercial use. The site changed hands in 2016. In November 2019, planning permission and listed building consent applications for residential conversion/reconstruction were granted, but works have not commenced as of May 2022.
