2. Main part of house probably mid-late C17, 3 storeys, 5 windows. Plastered front with moulded wood eaves cornice and tiled roof in 3 hips. Modern leaded croisee casements. Very large stack of 4 diagonal shafts at back; and a 2-shaft chimney at each end, possibly rebuilt. Northern part is an earlier house, timber-framed and with one large and one small gable oversailing on bressumer with carved brackets. Very tall compound stack of old bricks. Plastered front with pargeting and date 1615 in large gable. Modern leaded casements. C19 additions to north and west.
