Probably C16 in origin with a 3-storeyed Cl9 refronting of stuccoed timber-framing with a moulded eaves cornice and parapet. There are cellars. The western window in the 1st floor has 3 lights in a projecting bay. At the back on South are two cement-faced gables which may be of the lst house. The whole extensively restored 1970-1 and new shopfront.

Images of England

Images of England was a photographic record of every listed building in England, created as a snap shot of listed buildings at the turn of the millennium. These photographs of the exterior of listed buildings were taken by volunteers between 1999 and 2008. The project was supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
