Details

ASCOTT-UNDER-WYCHWOOD ASCOTT D'OYLEY SP 31 NW 4/7 Bale Tomb about 3 yards south of South Transept - of Church of Holy Trinity GV II Bale tomb. Probably late C17 ashlar, panelled sides and ends with winged cherubs and death masks, relief carved coved plinth, leaf and tongue inscription panels to north and west. Spiral bale with shell-niche ends.
