CLUN CP CHURCH STREET (south side) Luther Memorial approximately 31 metres to north of north aisle of Church of St George

GV II Chest tomb. Circa 1830. Sandstone ashlar. Chamfered plinth, sunken panels (end-panels with large shallow recessed lozenges), rebated corners with quadrant angles and vase-shaped balusters as nook shafts, and cavetto moulding to plain top. To John (died 1830) and Ann (died 1858) Luther. A good example of a type peculiar to this area (cf: Hamar memorial approximately 14 metres to north of north aisle).
