Farmhouse. C18 and later, but possibly incorporating earlier fragments. Ham stone ashlar; stone slate roofs between
coped gables; stone chimney stacks. L-plan, Two storeys with attic. South elevation 8 bays. Continuous string between
floors; hollow-chamfered mullioned windows in chamfered recesses, mostly 2-light, but 4-light both levels bay 5 and
lower bay 8, 3-light to upper bay 8; labels to upper windows, all rectangular leaded panes; bay 3 in form of projecting
porch with flat arched doorway and attic window in gable; chamfered cambered-arched door between lower bays 6/7:
datestone of 1722 in gable of porch. Main section of east return of 3 bays, of which bay 1 is a gable end with 2+4+2
light square bay window to ground floor under hipped stone slate roof, 3-light window to first floor and 2-light to
attic, both with labels, and circular vent to roof space; bay 2 has 2-light window above and 4-light window below;
thereafter a secondary entrance and various farm buildings, starting as 2 storey and climbing up sloping ground, ending
in 2-storey granary with hipped stone slate roof, with doorways at both levels on east side. Interior not seen. Part of
the c1720s addition to Brympton House (q.v), and thus of considerable significance. (Country Life, 26th November, 1898,
