Details
1. 1671 HIGH STREET (South Side) No 58 TF 0307 1/451 II GV 2. Late C19. 3 storeys and attics in ashlar with terra cotta. Mansard roof in Welsh slate with stone capped gle ends. 2 2-light gabled dormers with kneelers, chamfered arches, no glazing bars. Moulded stone brackets at eaves, 3-1-3 windows, segmental chamfered heads in red and yellow, architrave rusticated in yellow. The outer windows are of 2 lights, divided by columns with foliated capitals. Band continues cills. Windows linked by red band at impost height. 1st floor windows are similar, but are taller, with rounded blocked heads with cusped recesses. Finials above masks at gable ends. Egg and dart moulded cornice to contemporary shop front. Scrolled ornament in yellow on red below 2nd floor cill band. Red ridge tiles. 2 stone stacks with cornice on brackets.
Nos 53 to 59 (consec), Nos 61 to 69 (consec) & Nos 68 to 73 (consec) form a group.
