House. C17-C18. Squared coursed ironstone, C20 tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys; 4 bays. Entrance in second bay from left has plain wood frame, moulded timber hood on brackets and 6-panel door. 2-light casement window with wood lintel in left bay. Similar window in right bay. 3-light casement window with wood lintel in third bay from right. Doorway with wood lintel and 6-panel door in second bay from right. 3-light casement window with wood lintel in second bay from right on first floor. Other first floor windows are 2-light casements with wood lintels. Rear: partly timber framed with brick infill. Left side rebuilt in brick and left gable end has brick coping. Interior: open fireplace, chamfered spine beams. Old principal rafters and tie beams remain. Rest of roof structure renewed when thatch removed c.1975. Known as the "Dog and Gun" Public House until 1970.
