GV II

House. Early C18, faded in grey brick in early C19, parallel red brick range to rear of mid C19. 1-storey tiled brick outhouse attached to W gable. Steep old red tiled roof with stone copings to parapet and gables. 2-storeys and 3-windows wide. Central 6- panelled flush beaded door and moulded doorframewith traceried fanlight under round arch. Unusual curved-topped lean-to canopy with fretwork trim on cusped brackets with pierced spandrels. Recessed sash windows with gauged flat arches and painted stone sills. 6/6 panes to window over door but triple sash windows each side on both floors. Set back from street with C19 red brick gatepiers, Portland stone cappings, cast iron railings and gates.
