Milestone. 1898. Cast iron, hollow triangle with splayed top. Ribbed edges. On top 'PLAYLEY/GREEN/' hand pointing to left. On left side hand pointing to right, 'GLOUCESTER/10 MILES', below in smaller letters 'COUNTY OF/WORCESTER/1898'. On right side, hand pointing to left, 'LEDBURY/6 MILES', below; in smaller letters '......./IRON /IRON One of series of 3 in this and Staunton parishes, (q.v.). Parishes were in Worcestershire until C20.
