1. 1962 GRENDON BISHOP GRENDON BISHOP Grendon Manor SO 55 NE 7/437 9.4.52. II 2. Early C16 now faced in painted brick with slate roof. Two storeys. Five casement windows. Interior is notable for the early C17 panelling with fluted frieze with grotesques and fine overmantel with grotesque caryatids and carving of Sacrifice of Isaac. RCHM volume II, page 83, plate 65.
