C17. Coursed rubble with Cotswold stone roof. Gable to street. Three storeys, one
window, 16-pane sash and modern glazed door to ground floor, tripartite sash to first,
small sash above. Oval window with "eyelid" in gable; the gable has a footstone with
a finial to right hand side.
Mullioned windows to rear. Interior: good Tudor sash fireplace on first floor
(front). The house was a single unit with the Grey House till this century; the
staircase was probably in the Grey House; the alleyway to left of Grey House is still
part of Priory Studio.
In the C19 Priory Studio was part of The Wine Vaults which included the White Hart
and the Grey House (q.v.).
