Farmhouse in two occupations. Probably early-mid C18 with Cl9
extensions. C18 part limestone rubble with dressed stone quoins.
C19 extension coursed squared and dressed limestone. Artificial
stone slate roof, ashlar stacks. 'U'-shaped plan with C19
extension rear right and left of 'U'-shaped main body. Garden
front of main body with 2 gabled wings projecting forwards right
and left. Central part of main body 3 storeys, upper floor lit by
2 hipped 3-light roof dormers. Two tall 3-light stone-mullioned
casements to ground floor. Small C20 gabled porch with glazed door
at front off-centre right between windows. 21/2 storey gabled wing
right, lit by 2 and 3-light stone-mullioned casements with stopped
hoods and leaded panes. Left-hand gable; 2 storeys with single and
3-light casements with keystone lintels, gabled possibly projecting
stair visible in left-hand return. Single storey C19 extension
left lit by 2 and 3-light casements. Axial, lateral and gable end
stacks. Interior not inspected.
