2. Formerly the Unicorn Hotel. Mainly late C17 with additions and alterations. Red brick now stucco faced to road, hipped roof Welsh slated at front, red tiled at back. Semi-basement and 3 storeys. Plinth, floor bands, quoins. Formerly with rusticated pilasters to full height between 2nd and 3rd windows from either end. Carriageway on left, C19 canted bay window to ground floor on right. 2 fold half glazed door under segmental fanlight and Doric porch. Central recess, 1:5:2 sash windows in moulded frames and shallow reveals under flat arches. North wall of carriageway has timber framework and red brick nogging of late C16.
