2/126 Escort Chest Tomb, 3 yards south west of South Door of St. G.V. Leonard's Church II

Chest tomb. Edward Escort, died c. 1669. Limestone ashlar. Sunken illegible inscribed panels; moulded plinth and cornice. The chest tombs represent a good collection of local and classical tomb forms and contribute greatly to the setting of the church.
