ST 67 NE SISTON CARSONS ROAD 980-0/2/10004 Dramway Tunnel under Carsons Road II Tunnel under roadway for the former Avon and Gloucestershire Tramway (known locally as The Dramway), opened 1831. Pennant rubble battered abutment walls, curved on plan, with lias string and quoins to batter and elliptical arch with plain keystone. One of a number of structures associated with a horsedrawn dramway taking in all the local coal pits. (R Barber, The Dramway, 1986, published by Avon Industrial Buildings Trust)
