Part of house, now house. C15/early C16, altered in early C19. Timber framed, plastered, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. 2-bay crosswing of hall house extending to the left (items 9/109 and 9/110, q.v.), with external stack to right. C15 2-bay wing to rear, and C20 single-storey lean-to beyond. 2 storeys, both exceptionally high in the front block only. Ground floor, one sash of 6+1 lights, with C20 external louvred shutters. First floor, one C20 sash in early C19 style, with similar shutters. Introduced 6-panel pine door in early C19 doorcase with reeded jambs, paterae and moulded flat canopy. Exposed moulded tiebeam. A passage through at the left is on the line of the original cross-entry, and has in the right wall 2 blocked wide doorways with 4-centred heads. Underbuilt jetty. The post at the right has one moulded bracket, and an attached shaft. Curved braces trenched outside heavy close studding. The middle wallposts in each side have internal attached shafts, moulded bases and capitals. The binding beam is moulded, with moulded arched braces to it. The wallplates are moulded with converging stops. Moulded cambered tiebeam with 2 moulded arched braces. Roof inaccessible at time of survey, but the owner's photographs show that it is original and complete, with soulaces to every rafter couple, and a central crownpost (probably octagonal) with moulded base, moulded and crenellated capital and 4-way rising braces. The stack is original or early; the fabric of brick and tiles in random bond is visible from no. 12 (item 9/107, q.v.). C16 stone fireplace with moulded jambs, attached round shafts, moulded depressed arch with foliate carving in the spandrels, blocked for a C20 grate. Various scratched inscriptions on it, not original, include PAYCOK ANNO 16-- in black-letter script, others indecipherable. In the rear wall is a blocked first-floor doorway with a 4-centred head. The rear wing has rebated and chamfered wallplates with step stops, a cambered central tiebeam, and a crownpost roof with all axial braces 0.08 metre thick. Introduced early C17 oak panelling.
