Planned terrace of houses. Mid C19. Stucco; dry slate roofs with deep front eaves; brick end stacks. Double-depth plan, each house with probably 2 rooms at the front flanking a central entrance hall. 2 storeys; each house a symmetrical 3-bay front with recessed segmental arched panels to bays at left and right and plain recessed narrower central bay. Original 12-pane hornless sashes replaced with horned copies (No.5, left), sashes without glazing bars or late C20 windows. Round-arched openings including central doorways with overlights and panelled doors where original. INTERIOR: not inspected but likely to retain original features of interest. Forms a group with Nos 10-19 (consec) (qv).
