Rectory, now house. C17 origin with early - mid C19 addition to front, some
later alterations. Stucco, asbestos slate hipped roof on wide bracketted eaves
with stone stacks to sides; rear wing rendered with triple roll tiled roof and
brick ridge and gable stacks. 2 storeys and 4 windows, all plate-glass sashes,
(some pivoted) cornice on consoles over ground floor windows, first floor windows
in shouldered architraves with aprons, plinth, rusticated quoins and ground floor,
plain band at first floor. Right return has Venetian style doorway, 2-panelled
door with 9-pane sidelights, fanlight, moulded surround and impost blocks,
pilasters to sides, cornice and blocking course, three 6-pane lights at first
floor; 2-storey rear wing (original building) has 3-light casement, C19
weathered buttresses, external stair to glazed door, 2-light casement under eaves
to left and lean-to at end. Left return has small canted bay with French window,
French window in raised architrave to right, first floor has plate-glass sash and
2 sashes with wider central pane, all in raised architraves, band courses and
rustication returned left and right; rear of C19 building has round-headed
4-pane light at ground floor, band course, rendered; rear wing has C20 glazed
door and 2-light casement, first floor has C20 window to left and 4-light
casement under eaves, straight joint between 2 halves of rear wing, ridge stack
at probable former gable end. Interior: rear wing has deep-chamfered beams.
