Details

EXBOURNE SS 50 SE 4/38 Higher Woodhall II House. Circa late C18. Rendered stone walls. Hipped slate roof. Brick stack at either end of front block and to rear wing. Plan : 2 equal-sized rooms at front with central entrance lobby and stairs, service wing behind left-hand room. C19 leanto adjoining wing. Exterior: 2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front of original 20-pane sashes, 16 panes to central first floor window. The ground floor rignt-hand window has been replaced by a C20 glazed door. Late C20 facsimile 6-panel door at centre with pedimented doorhood in front supported on wooden columns. Wing extends at rear of left-hand end with C19 outshut built against inner face. Interior: Front rooms have simple decorative plaster cornices.
