the description shall be amended to read:

Jubilee village cross. Medieval and 1897. Medieval limestone cross shaft set into an 1897 concrete base. The lower part of the cross is square becoming octagonal as it rises. There are diamond stops at the point where it becomes octagonal. The cross shaft terminates in a Cl9 rectangular block with a moulded capping, base and sundial which has now lost its metal gnomon; crown-like upper finial.

Erected by the village to celebrate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.

There are diamond stops at the point where it becomes octagonal. The cross shaft terminates in a C19 rectangular block with a moulded capping base and sundial which has now lost its metal gnomon; crown-like upper finial.
